Accounting Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in core accounting functions, providing valuable exposure to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and committed to maintaining accuracy in financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping Assistance: Record financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Bank Reconciliation: Match internal records with bank statements to ensure accuracy.
• Invoice Processing: Review, file, and process supplier invoices and employee reimbursements.
• Audit Support: Organize and prepare financial documents for internal and external audits.
• Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting systems with precision.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and record company expenses for reporting and analysis.
• Document Management: Maintain organized, confidential, and accessible financial records.
• Ad-Hoc Accounting Tasks: Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
