We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Compliance Supervisor to oversee the company's tax compliance functions. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all national and local tax obligations, supervise the tax compliance team, coordinate with government agencies, and ensure adherence to Philippine tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance

• Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of:
• Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT)
• Withholding Tax on Compensation (WTC)
• Value-Added Tax (VAT)
• VAT Withholding (BIR Form 1600-VT)
• Documentary Stamp Tax (DST)
• Income Tax Returns (ITR)
• Annual Information Returns and Alphalist
• eSales reports
• Local Business Taxes and other regulatory requirements
• Review tax computations and supporting schedules.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure full compliance.

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay updated on BIR issuances, tax regulations, and local government requirements.
• Evaluate regulatory changes and recommend necessary actions.
• Ensure compliance with all tax-related reportorial requirements.

Tax Audits & Government Coordination

• Serve as the primary contact during BIR audits and tax assessments.
• Coordinate with the BIR, LGUs, and other government agencies.
• Prepare and submit documents required during tax examinations.
• Manage tax notices, assessments, and official correspondence.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor Tax Compliance Officers and staff.
• Review team outputs and provide coaching and technical guidance.
• Monitor team performance and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Process Improvement

• Identify tax compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
• Recommend process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain organized tax records for audit readiness.

Reporting

• Prepare tax compliance reports for management.
• Analyze tax exposures and recommend practical solutions.
• Support management in tax planning and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 3–5 years of experience in taxation, accounting, or tax compliance.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in tax compliance.
• Experience handling BIR audits, tax assessments, and regulatory compliance.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience using eFPS, eBIRForms, and other government filing platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
