Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

The Finance / Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth operation of the Finance Department. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with payroll, taxation, and other accounting functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and Philippine accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements and company financial records.
• Prepare invoices, official receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Monitor petty cash and reimbursements.
• Maintain organized filing of accounting documents and financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and banks regarding financial transactions.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist during internal and external audits by preparing required documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and Philippine tax regulations.
• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned by management.
