- Operate and monitor pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and other equipment used in wastewater treatment.
- Inspect plant equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning; report or correct malfunctions.
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels to determine operating conditions and make necessary adjustments.
- Collect water and sludge samples for laboratory testing; record data and analyze results.
- Add chemicals (e.g., chlorine, coagulants) as needed to treat water effectively.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tanks, filters, and equipment.
- Record daily operational data and prepare accurate logs and reports.
- Ensure all processes are in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations such as equipment failures or overflows.
- Assist in implementing preventive maintenance and plant improvements.
- Vocational Graduate or any related fields
- Basic knowledge of water chemistry, pumps, valves, and treatment processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, gauges, and lab test results.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
