- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related components
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel-powered vehicles
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to discuss repairs and maintenance
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Diesel Mechanics or related field
- Experience Level: 5–8 years of experience in diesel mechanics
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Qualities and Traits: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Working Conditions: Willingness to work in various environments, including outdoor conditions
