Description
- Install, maintain and repair UPS or Uninterruptible power supply, electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in a commercial setting.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of UPS or uninterruptible power supply
- Proficiency in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
Requirements
- Job Title: Electrician
- Educational Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience Level: Seeking candidates with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, knowledge of electrical codes, competency in using electrical diagnostic tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and safety-consciousness.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Installation of electrical systems, troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Working Conditions: Job may require both indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions and potential hazards associated with electrical work.
- Qualities and Traits: Must be detail-oriented, reliable, have excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
