MAPEH CONTENT DEVELOPER (PROJECT-BASED)

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Education major in MAPEH, Physical Education, Music, Arts, Health Education, or related field
• Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) is preferred
• Preferably with teaching experience in MAPEH or any of its component areas (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health)
• Strong understanding of the K–12 Curriculum and DepEd learning competencies

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Experience in developing educational content, learning modules, textbooks, activity sheets, or assessment materials
• Background in curriculum development and instructional material preparation is an advantage
• Experience in textbook or module writing for MAPEH subjects is highly preferred

SKILLS

• Excellent writing, editing, and instructional design skills
• Strong research and content development skills
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and present lessons appropriate to different grade levels
• Knowledge of competency-based learning and assessment design
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Develop lesson content for Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH) across assigned grade levels
• Align all learning materials with Department of Education (DepEd) curriculum standards, competencies, and learning outcomes
• Write, review, and revise Teacher's Guides (TG), Learner's Materials (LM), worksheets, activity sheets, and assessment tools
• Ensure content accuracy, age-appropriateness, inclusivity, and clarity of instruction
• Integrate Filipino culture, values, traditions, and real-life applications into lessons and activities
• Design engaging learning experiences that promote creativity, physical wellness, artistic expression, and healthy living
• Develop formative and summative assessments with balanced cognitive levels and measurable learning objectives
• Collaborate with editors, illustrators, subject matter experts, and project managers to ensure quality learning resources
• Review and revise content based on feedback, curriculum updates, and quality assurance standards
• Ensure consistency in content format, learning outcomes, and instructional strategies across all MAPEH materials
