Day-to-Day Job Functions

• Installing electrical systems: Setting up wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, outlets, light fixtures, and electrical control panels.
• Troubleshooting & repairs: Diagnosing electrical faults, short circuits, or broken components using testing tools like multimeters and voltmeters.
• Preventive maintenance: Inspecting motors, generators, wiring, and control boxes regularly to catch potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
• Reading schematics: Interpreting electrical blueprints, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals to plan installations or trace wiring.
• Equipment testing: Running functional tests on newly installed or repaired machinery to ensure everything meets safety standards.
• Safety compliance: Strict adherence to electrical codes, grounding protocols, and personal protective equipment (PPE) rules to prevent hazards like electrical shocks or fires.
