Description

Customer Service:

  • Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and provide recommendations based on individual needs.
  • Build rapport with customers to ensure a personalized shopping experience and foster brand loyalty.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and handle returns or exchanges professionally and efficiently.

Sales & Upselling:

  • Actively engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and recommend products that suit them.
  • Promote sales, current promotions, and store events to encourage additional purchases.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales goals and contribute to team sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge & Presentation:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of product features, benefits, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing, according to store standards.
  • Assist in replenishing inventory and maintaining product displays to ensure a neat and organized shopping environment.

Cash Handling & Transactions:

  • Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and returns/exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy in processing transactions, including promotions, discounts, and loyalty program enrollments.

Store Maintenance:

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store, including sales floors, fitting rooms, and stock rooms.
  • Ensure products are properly tagged, stocked, and displayed according to visual merchandising standards.
  • Help with opening and closing procedures, including securing the store, counting cash, and organizing inventory.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members and management to achieve sales goals, improve store performance, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and feedback sessions to improve personal and team performance.

Inventory & Stocking:

  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments, restocking shelves, and organizing products.
  • Help with periodic stock counts and support the stockroom by ensuring inventory is properly labeled and stored.

Requirement

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college coursework or a relevant degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets or KPIs is an advantage.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with a customer-first approach.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
