Description

  • Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
  • Agreeing and managing budgets.
  • Creating staffing rotas.
  • Planning menus.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
  • Promoting and marketing the business.
  • Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.

Requirements

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and motivate staff effectively.
  • Customer Service: Strong focus on providing excellent customer experiences.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication with staff and customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle unexpected issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage inventory, scheduling, and daily operations.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: Understanding of food safety regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or food service management role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with restaurant management software and basic office tools.
