The Pharmacist is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Pharmacy Operations.

1. Ensures continuous supply of drugs and medicines to patients by maintaining an adequate quantity in stocks of those approved by the Operations/Ancillary and General Manager.
2. Controls the purchasing, requisitioning, safekeeping and issuing of drugs.
3. Maintains records and files of dangerous drugs and other pharmaceuticals as required by law.
4. Dispenses medicines as requested by the various nursing units
5. Monitors drug availability and their corresponding expiry date.
6. Informs doctors and nurses about the availability of new products and those that are out of stock in a monthly basis.
7. Explains direction for prescription use of medicines to outpatients.
8. Reviews, compute and records prescription charges.
9. Performs daily reconciliation of medicines returned from the general nursing unit.
10. Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Preferably with experience but new board passers are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge on the Food and the Drug Administration (FDA) is an advantage
