Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter with a strong background in the construction industry to manage end-to-end recruitment for construction projects and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing and hiring skilled tradespeople, technical professionals, project staff, and construction management personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job requisition through onboarding.
• Source candidates for construction roles including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Foremen, Supervisors, skilled workers, and other project personnel.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified construction candidates.
• Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, and industry networks to source candidates.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, technical skills, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and project/site management teams.
• Verify employment history, certifications, licenses, and other relevant qualifications.
• Work closely with project managers and department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
• Support high-volume recruitment for construction projects while meeting agreed hiring timelines.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment reports.
• Assist with offer negotiations, pre-employment requirements, and onboarding.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
• Build relationships with construction professionals, subcontractors, technical schools, and other talent sources.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or property development industry.
• Proven experience recruiting both technical and skilled construction personnel.
• Strong knowledge of construction job functions, terminology, and industry requirements.
• Experience with high-volume and project-based recruitment is an advantage.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking/recruitment systems.

• Experience recruiting for construction projects, contractors, engineering firms, or property developers.
• Established network of construction professionals and skilled workers.
• Experience recruiting candidates for site-based and project-based positions.
• Familiarity with construction certifications, licenses, and safety requirements.
• Experience handling urgent manpower requirements and mass hiring.
