• Conduct soil, plant, and water analysis for crop improvement strategies
• Design and oversee field trials, analyzing and reporting on data to optimize yields
• Collaborate with farmers to implement sustainable agricultural practices
• Develop and recommend crop management solutions to increase productivity
• Stay current with agricultural trends, technology, and regulatory compliance

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience Level: Minimum 2 to 4 years auditing experience for agricultural systems, or extensive training and experience in farming, organic agriculture, post-harvest handling, traceability and food safety standards, environmental management, sustainability and fair trade, and regulations in agriculture.
• Required skills: auditing and investigative skills, quality assurance analysis, systems analysis, critical thinking, effective communication, record keeping, service orientation, and skilled in using basic software, databases, and other information technology.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in modern farming techniques, knowledge of crop management and soil science, familiarity with agricultural equipment, and excellent analytical skills.
• Responsibilities and Duties: Plan and implement crop strategies, monitor plant health, analyze soil and weather conditions, and oversee farm operations.
• Working Conditions: Role involves outdoor work, exposure to various weather conditions, and potential physical labor.
• Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, passionate about sustainable farming, good communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
