Description

  • Evaluating suppliers: Considering factors like price, quality, availability, and reliability when choosing suppliers 
  • Negotiating contracts: Working with vendors and clients to secure the best deals 
  • Managing inventory: Maintaining accurate records of purchases and pricing, and ensuring stock levels are optimal 
  • Ensuring quality: Reviewing and approving products and services to ensure they meet quality standards 
  • Preparing purchase orders: Liaising with the finance department to ensure timely payments 
  • Coordinating logistics: Working with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries 
  • Maintaining records: Keeping records of purchases, receipts, and inventories 
  • Attending trade shows: Learning about industry trends and meeting suppliers 

Requirements

  • Preferably a graduate of any business-related course
  • Has proven work experience as Purchasing staff or similar role
  • Has excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledgeable in sourcing ( suppliers, researching, comparison and bargaining )
  • Has the ability to maintain good client relations
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Can work under pressure
  • Willing to work in MOA, Pasay City
