About the role


As a Purchasing Assistant at IBCOM KITCHEN EQUIPMENT (MANILA) INC., you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement processes for our leading kitchen equipment manufacturing and distribution business. This full-time position is based in our Pasay City, Metro Manila office.


What you'll be doing

  • Assisting in the preparation of purchase orders, requisitions and other procurement documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers to coordinate the delivery of ordered items
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Supporting the purchasing team in negotiating favourable terms with suppliers
  • Preparing reports on purchasing activities and spend analysis
  • Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using procurement and inventory management software
  • Some prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work well within a team
