The Product Officer will support the development, management, and enhancement of payment gateway products. You will work closely with the product team to ensure that our offerings align with market trends and customer needs, ensuring seamless integration and a superior customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of the payment gateway industry, customer-centric design, and technical capabilities.

• Product Development: Assist in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of new products or enhancements to existing payment gateway solutions.
• Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product features and functionalities align with customer needs and business goals.
• Product Roadmap Management: Support the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
• Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and optimize the user experience.
• Compliance & Security: Stay updated on payment industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2) and ensure products are compliant with relevant standards and data security protocols.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create product documentation, including user manuals and reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity on product features and performance metrics.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in product management or development, preferably within the payment gateway, fintech, or e-commerce industries.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with payment processing, gateways, APIs, digital wallets, and fraud prevention tools.
• Technical Proficiency: Understanding of the technical aspects of payment gateways, including integration processes, API functionalities, and security measures.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to drive product decisions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present product strategies and reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Focused on understanding customer needs and delivering products that enhance user experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of payment gateway protocols such as EMV, tokenization, and encryption.
• Experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with payment platforms and trends like BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), digital wallets, and contactless payments.
