Description

  • Oversee purchasing activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency for Federal Overseas Manpower Inc., a leader in Human Resources & Recruitment.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and evaluate supply options that meet the company's standards of price, quality, and reliability.
  • Maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists, while coordinating with finance and operations departments to forecast the needs of the business.
  • Ensure ethical procurement practices and adherence to the company's standards and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience Level: At least 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role within the distribution sector.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in purchasing software, adept in negotiation, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, maintain vendor relationships, ensure timely supply of goods, and adhere to procurement policies.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment, with occasional visits to suppliers or distribution centers. May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, decision-making capability, proactive in problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
