- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Follow recipes and ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Educational Qualifications: A Diploma in Baking or Culinary Arts is required.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in a bakery or pastry shop.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong attention to detail, technical baking skills, physical stamina, time management, creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working Conditions: Fast-paced bakery environment; may involve long hours standing and working with hot ovens.
- Qualities and Traits: Passion for baking, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and excellent teamwork skills.
