About the Role:

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the execution of plans and scripts for testing, identifying defects, analyzing reports for the defects, and collaborating with other software engineers to improve the overall process.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with the QA team to understand project requirements and deliverables, with a focus on self-service kiosk hardware and software.
• Execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for self-service kiosk applications and related systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct in-depth manual and automated testing on self-service kiosk hardware and software components.
• Assist in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve testing processes and test coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support.
• Analyze and report on test results, contributing to product quality improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
• Compliance with e-tap’s safety, security, and information security protocols.
• Perform other job-related functions or duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Proficiency in test automation using relevant tools and scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of hardware testing tools and methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead testing efforts and mentor junior team members.
