The machine/maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring the operation of packaging and industrial equipment, its repair, and its upkeep by performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, including supporting equipment. Part of his job is to inspect, maintain, install and perform repairs and maintenance on all electrical equipment and manufacturing machinery and ensure its operational use.

The scope of responsibility shall include:

1.  Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance on bottling, SUP/Sachet line equipment, processing equipment, and utilities equipment.
2. Using mechanical and electrical knowledge in trouble shooting to maintain the manufacturing equipment systems,
3. Follows diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions,
4. Interacts with production group for support with setup repair items as needed.
5. Observes appropriate safety measures to maintain and promote a safe work environment,
6. Performs detailed analysis and recommends repair solutions when equipment is not performing up to mechanical or electrical design expectations.
7. Perform other tasks as may be required.

1. Must be College level or gained a certification for diploma/vocational degree in the same field.
2. With at least 5 years of experience in Maintenance or other related technical training, preferably in a food manufacturing environment, and production line machinery
3. With training on electrical wiring installation and troubleshooting, Pneumatics and Electro-pneumatics, and Advanced Industrial Motor Control
4. Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and must be well versed in troubleshooting industrial equipment
5. Must be willing to report to work as required under emergency conditions.
