Job Description

Description

  • Responsible for preparing ingredients prior to meal service, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or cleaning seafood
  • Assist the head cook in cooking dishes according to set recipes
  • Comply with food preparation standards & safety practices and procedures
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
  • Works quickly while paying attention to multiple responsibilities at a time
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the Supervisor
  • Other duties that Management may assign from time to time include setting tables, assisting with food service, washing dishes and silverware, and basic maintenance of communal items like kitchen appliances, fans, etc.


Requirement

  • At least High School graduate
  • Preferably with culinary training/experience
  • Previous experience as a kitchen helper
