Description

Technical Support:Provide technical assistance and support to end-users both in person and remotely.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Install, configure, and update software and hardware components as needed.
Network Management:Maintain and monitor the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.
Implement network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
System Administration:Administer servers, including setup, configuration, and routine maintenance tasks.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
Hardware and Software Procurement:Assess technology needs and make recommendations for hardware and software purchases.
Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement processes within budget constraints.
Ensure proper asset management and inventory control.
Information Security:Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices to protect the organization's data and systems.
Documentation and Training:Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Provide training to staff on IT-related topics, including software usage and security protocols.
Project Management:Lead or participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years experience as an IT Officer or in a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, IOS/MAC) and software applications.
Willing to be placed on GY Schedule
Experience with network administration and security.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
