The IT Audit Officer position exists to assess and enhance organizational IT security and controls, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and prevention of security breaches. Responsibilities include conducting IT risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews, while identifying opportunities for control improvement and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

• Perform IT risk assessments, IT audits, and regulatory compliance assessments in areas covering IT general controls, application controls, business cycle, and IT security review.
• Perform IT assurance engagements covering business and IT controls.
• Able to evaluate IT internal controls and identify opportunities for controls improvement
• Able to multi-task and possess effective time management skills.
• Able to produce high quality work deliverables on a timely basis.
• Build and nurture positive working relationships with the Auditees.

EDUCATION:

• Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting
• Preferably with CISA certification. CPA or CIA certification is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 3-5 years work experience in the field of IT audit
• Experience in performing IT risk assessments and IT audits.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and take constructive feedback.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

• Good working knowledge of the COSO and IT Assurance Framework issued by ISACA
• Strong understanding of complex business and IT processes, and their related risks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, a team player, and a self-starter.

BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING:

• Keep abreast of business trends, competitor’s activities, and related regulations.
