3. Receiving & Issuance

• Oversee incoming deliveries and verify quantities and quality
• Ensure proper documentation of received and released items
• Coordinate distribution of materials to departments or customers

4. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain inventory databases or systems (e.g., ERP)
• Generate reports on stock movement, usage, and variances
• Analyze trends to support demand planning

5. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and purchasing teams
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries and shortages
• Communicate stock issues or risks to management

6. Compliance & Organization

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of items
• Follow company policies and safety standards
• Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse or stockroom

7. Loss Prevention

• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory
• Implement controls to reduce shrinkage or theft
• Recommend process improvements for better inventory control
