Description

  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Handle HR-related documents, such as employment contracts.
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate HR databases and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Support the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting background checks, and issuing employment contracts.
  • Administer and implement employee policies, offering high-quality advice on HR procedures and policies for a hospitality and tourism industry.
  • Participate in performance management processes to align with organizational goals and staff career development.
  • Generate reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as departmental hiring totals or employee turnover rates.
  • Perform other duties that benefit the company.

Requirement

  • Job Title: HR Officer/HR Generalist
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  • Experience Level: 3-5 years of HR experience required, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations, experience with HRMS/HRIS systems, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage HR operations, support staffing, employee relations and performance management, develop HR policies, ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Working Conditions: Office setting, occasional travel may be required, standard workweek with additional hours to meet deadlines.
  • Qualities and Traits: Proactive, ethical, team player, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • With knowledge of scheduling / timekeeping and payroll
  • A background in the Hospitality Industry, especially in hotels/motels, is preferred.
  • The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
