WE'RE HIRING: GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

Location: Mandaue City, Cebu

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical General Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing the company's accounting functions, with a primary focus on auditing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting-related responsibilities to support the department's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with internal audits and coordinate with external auditors when necessary.
• Review accounting transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, general ledger accounts, and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables, and other financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Assist in tax compliance and the preparation of government reportorial requirements.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding financial concerns and documentation.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in auditing, financial reporting, and general accounting functions is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
• Willing to work in Mandaue City, Cebu.
