General Accounting

Description

  • Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting functions and budgeting processes.
  • Prepare timely financial statements, reports, and tax returns in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support audits and implement improvement measures within the interior design project scopes.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities for Amsamm Property & Development, Inc.

    Requirements

    • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Experience Level: 1-3 years of general accounting experience
    • Skills and Competencies: Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software, knowledge of GAAP, excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage daily transactions, prepare financial reports, conduct audits, ensure compliance with financial laws, handle tax filings, and assist with budget preparation
    • Working Conditions: Office environment, typically 9-5, may require overtime during fiscal year-end or tax season
    • Qualities and Traits: Analytical thinker, problem-solver, ethical with a high degree of integrity, good communicator, and ability to work in a team
