Description

Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities by researching potential clients, markets, and trends.
  • Cold-call, email, or network with prospects to generate leads and secure appointments.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and follow up on opportunities.

Client Meetings & Relationship Building:

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, demonstrate products/services, and close sales.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns during the sales process and after the sale.

Product Knowledge & Presentations:

  • Present and demonstrate the company’s products or services to clients, ensuring they fully understand the value proposition.
  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity to effectively position the company’s products in the market.

Sales Negotiation & Closing:

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Overcome objections and handle difficult sales situations to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Sales Reporting & Administration:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports to track progress against sales targets and identify areas for improvement.

Market Feedback & Insights:

  • Collect customer feedback, market trends, and competitor information to share with the team and help improve sales strategies.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and work closely with internal teams to ensure clients’ needs are met.

Travel & Territory Management:

  • Travel within an assigned geographic area to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly routes to maximize sales coverage and productivity.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in a field or B2B (business-to-business) environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
