Mold Maintenance Engineer

• Design and develop engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Conduct research and analyze data to improve processes and products.
• Perform regular testing and maintenance of engineering solutions.
• Document technical processes and provide support during project implementation.
• Setup, operation, and monitoring of injection molding machines
• Optimization of molding conditions (temperature, pressure, cooling time, etc.)
• Reduction of cycle time and improvement of production efficiency
• Evaluation of Mold Design and Modifications
• Mold Installation, Removal, and Maintenance
• Mold Troubleshooting (Handling defects such as burrs, short shots, flashes, etc.)
• Analysis and Improvement of Molding Defects (e.g., weld lines, warpage, sink marks)
• Application of Quality Standards (e.g., dimensional accuracy, strength, appearance)
• Quality Improvement Using SPC (Statistical Process Control) and QC Tools
• Understanding the Properties of Resin Materials (e.g., PP, ABS, PC, POM)
• Management of Material Drying, Mixing, and Coloring
• Evaluation of Injection Molding Characteristics of Materials
• Maintenance and Management of Injection Molding Machines, Hot Runners, Chillers, Dryers, and Mold Temperature Controllers
• Troubleshooting (Machine alarms, hydraulic and electrical system issues)
• Collaboration with Design, Quality Control, and Production Teams
• Training and Guidance for Operators and Technicians
• Improvement Activities for Enhanced Production Efficiency and Quality"

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in mold troubleshooting and related activities.
• Skills and Competencies: Proficient in mold troubleshooting, material knowledge, and mold design principles.
