As Engineering Officer, you are responsible to ensure proper and cost-effective repair and maintenance of all company facilities Including store spaces/structures

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that Stores' equipment and facilities such as electricity, air conditioning units and other facilities are in good condition to sustain the smooth operation of the office building.
• Manage the Stores' and Head office maintenance and repairs, modification and expansion works including supervision of subcontractors, and coordination with design consultants for civil, electrical, and mechanical.
• Ensure that all as-built drawings and electronic files are updated reflecting the modification made in the Head Office, stores and facilities.
• Plan and supervise execution of repairs and maintenance activities in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner and ensure that work progress is in accordance with the maintenance program.
• Prepare the daily schedule/work assignment of the Engineering and Maintenance Staff and ensure that implementation is in accordance with the method statement, work procedures, preventive maintenance checklist and work instructions.
• Tagging of facilities equipment and tools and keeping in a secure place and keeping a log book to record issuance to maintenance crew.
• Monitor the electricity and water consumption and make necessary measures on how to have cost savings
• Ensures compliance to and manages all health, safety, and security requirements of the Company and all government regulatory bodies
• Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an engineering officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
