We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and YAML configurations, with a proven track record in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment processes, and contributing to the overall performance and reliability of our systems.

• Architecture and Automation

o Design, maintain, and evolve architectures and automation for zero-downtime deployments.

• Containerization with Docker

o Work with Docker and Kubernetes to scale and monitor microservices.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development

o Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

o Use tools like Github workflow and BitBucket pipeline CI to automate deployments.

o Work with our development teams to help them set up automation pipelines and solve problems.

• Complex and Distributed Systems:

o Handle complex and distributed enterprise systems in cloud Kubernetes clusters.

o Ensure seamless integration and operation of these systems within the cloud environment.

• Collaboration:

o Collaborate with other DevOps engineers to make the best solution possible.

o Participate in an on-call schedule and act in a server/technical support capacity to the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and YAML configurations.

• Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and management using Jenkins.

• Strong knowledge of cloud services and network configuration.

• Proficiency in relational database management (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).

• Experience with Unix systems, shell scripting, and make files.

• Familiarity with handling complex and distributed systems in cloud environments.

• Ability to monitor and test performance across the application stack.

• Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes (CKA), Docker, Jenkins, or Oracle Database) are a plus.

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
