Job Summary:

A Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering goods, packages, or food to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. They ensure accurate deliveries, maintain vehicle safety, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver orders to designated locations.
• Load, unload, and handle products carefully.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
• Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and reports.
• Inspect vehicles regularly and report maintenance issues.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers, managers, and customers regarding delivery status.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to lift and carry packages (typically up to 50 lbs/23 kg).
• Good navigation and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with GPS and route-planning applications.
