Requirements

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain complex compensation and benefits programs to employees, effectively communicate with managers, executives, and other stakeholders, and prepare presentations and reports on compensation and benefits strategies.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and vendors, work effectively in teams and collaborate with other HR professionals, and resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify and analyze problems related to compensation and benefits, develop creative solutions and implement them effectively, and think strategically and anticipate potential challenges.


Experience:

  • Compensation & Benefits Experience: Prior experience in a related role, such as Compensation and Benefits Analyst, Benefits Administrator, or HR Generalist with a focus on compensation and benefits.
  • Labor Legislation Knowledge: Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits, and recent changes in employment law that may impact compensation practices.
  • Employee Satisfaction Survey Experience: Ability to design and interpret employee satisfaction surveys to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs, and use survey results to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
