Description

Seek out methods to streamline the billing process and collection.
Monitor M/M and all invoice payments to JV's and Local Associates
Coordinate with Local Associates in respect of any accounting/invoicing matters
Manage month-end accounting procedures such as reviewing financial data (Accounting Report and BIM Liquidation Report, Remuneration Report submission)
Monitor day-to-day financial operations which includes ensuring the sufficiency of funds
Direct in charge of requests for fund transfers from the Manila Office and HQ
Monitor expenditures and determine budget variances (including Cash Forecasting and Re-allocation)
Escalate cost overruns or results based on Approved Financial proposal (Fin-5) to Management
Develop and recommend solutions to problems with cost implications.
Plans and implements quality assurance on financial processes such as tax compliance review on financial documents.
Establish and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures.
Facilitate internal audit procedures from the Manila Office/ HQ Office.
Provide Other Management ADHOC Reports
Monitor asset movement of office supply, consumables, and commodities
Monitor all project expenses against the budget for appropriate required action e.g. reallocation, cash forecasting among others.
Collaborate with the stakeholders on all financial activities
Manage office accountants and provide guidance when needed.
Any other tasks required for project operation
Any other tasks that may be instructed by Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and OCG head office.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Public Accountant with 5 years of experience in Railway Projects
Must have 8 years of experience in office.
Manage overall invoicing requirements to CLIENT which includes mainly preparation of billing package.
Has proficiency with BIR Requirements (registration, VAT, EWT, CWT, ITR, FBT, DST)
