Description

A Cash Assistance Officer involves in managing the delivery of cash-based assistance programs to beneficiaries in need. 


Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with cash transfer technologies or digital payment systems.


Work Environment:

  • Field-based work, often requiring travel to remote or underserved areas.
  • Interaction with vulnerable populations, requiring empathy and discretion.
  • Collaboration with diverse teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in social services, community outreach, or cash transfer programs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in local dialects is an advantage, especially in field assignments.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles or financial management is a plus.
