Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of all accounting records. This role plays a critical part in maintaining clean financial data, supporting reporting, and enabling leadership to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date general ledger.
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions, including revenue and expenses.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows, including vendor invoice processing.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis
• Assist with payroll allocations and related entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ensure timely month-end close, with reports delivered by the 10th of each month.
• Respond to internal inquiries related to expenses, reimbursements, and transactions.
• Follow established processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with payroll platforms such as Gusto or Rippling.
• Familiarity with US GAAP.
• Experience working with US-based companies or clients.
