Backend Developer – Laravel & Node.js 

In this position, you will: 

• Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel (PHP) and Node.js (Express, Fastify, or NestJS) 
• Write clean, well-structured code following industry best practices and standards 
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software, APIs, and databases 
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and scrum team to define and implement new features 
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services 
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle 
• Optimize the platform for performance, scalability, and reliability 
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and enforce coding standards across the team 
• Follow Agile methodologies and actively engage in planning, grooming, and sprint reviews 

Do you have the right ingredients? 

• At least 2 years of experience with Laravel and Node.js using Express, Fastify, or NestJS 
• Strong background in OOP, MVC, and modern PHP development 
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs, working with JSON, and integrating external services 
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript 
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and caching tools like Redis or Memcache 
• Exposure to DevOps tools and cloud services (AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines) 
• Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban 
• Bonus if you have knowledge of microservice architecture, GraphQL, or event-driven systems 
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who can work independently when needed
