Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for electrical systems and products.
Use core Quality tools and methodologies to determine root cause, implement corrective actions, and validate the efficacy of solutions.
Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall quality.
Develop and maintain quality records and documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Develop a breadth of product knowledge by studying vehicle specifications/drawings, DFMEAs/PFMEAs, and other part/product documentation.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering.
Skills and Attributes
Strong understanding of electrical systems and products.
Experience working on complex, multifunctional products.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data to identify trends and anomalies.
Experience working in a Quality organization within a manufacturing environment (experience in automotive is preferred).
Experience working with CANopen and serial diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with common electrical products such as wiring harnesses, PCBA, controllers/inverter, motors, embedded systems firmware, etc.
Familiarity with lithium-ion battery systems.
Experience using electronic measurement equipment such as digital multimeter, insulation tester (or hipot), etc.
Strong practical knowledge of Quality problem solving tools (Fishbone Diagrams, FMEA, Scatter Diagrams, The 5 Whys, Pareto Charts), with a proven history of successful application.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present information to non-technical and technical audiences alike.
Solid understanding of the Quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
Experience/Familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
Experience/Familiarity with Salesforce and Jira is plus.
