Description
Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Assist with budget preparation and budget reviews, and manage basic office administrative tasks.
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
Create and update expense reports.
Organize and maintain a filing system for all financial documents.
Contribute to improving financial processes for Santeh Feeds Corporation, a prominent wholesaler and distributor in the Visayas region.
Support the finance department with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
Post daily receipts, and prepare daily/monthly/yearly reports; and assist the accounting department with tasks as needed.
Requirement
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Accounts Receivable and Payable, Bookkeeping, preparing Financial Statements, Billing processes, General Accounting practices, Journal Entries, and the Statement of Cash Flows. Strong attention to detail and exceptional Account Reconciliation skills are required.
Responsibilities and Duties: Manage daily accounting tasks, prepare financial documents and reports, perform account reconciliations, assist with the closing of books, and maintain accurate financial records.
Working Conditions: Office setting with typical working hours, but may require extra hours during end-of-month, quarter, or year-end periods.
Qualities and Traits: The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. High integrity and transparency in financial reporting are paramount.
