About the role

As the Cash Custodian, you are responsible for the custody and safekeeping of the company's petty cash and checks, and for providing administrative support services, including but not limited to the preparation and completion of documentary requirements for banks and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and safeguard the company's petty cash fund and unclaimed checks
• Ensure accurate documentation of all cash disbursements and receipts
• Prepare petty cash liquidation reports with complete supporting documents, ensuring timely submission for review and approval
• Coordinate with designated approvers for petty cash replenishments and check releases
• Facilitate the safekeeping and proper documentation of issued but unclaimed checks
• Prepare and complete documentation required by banks and other financial institutions, and other government institutions
• Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for all administrative documents and records related to your role
• Provide administrative assistance for other tasks as assigned, ensuring compliance with internal policies and deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field.
• With 1–2 years of experience in petty cash handling, accounting support, administrative work, or a similar role.
• Experience in handling cash, checks, liquidation, and financial documents is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and administrative procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Trustworthy and responsible in handling company funds and confidential documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and basic documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Willing to perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
