Description
- Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records in line with AFREIGHT PHILIPPINES INC.'s policies.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for accounts, such as general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to assist management in decision-making related to the Transportation & Logistics industry operations.
- Handle company taxes and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field required.
- Experience Level: Seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related area.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in accounting software, exceptional numerical aptitude, and knowledge of accounting regulations.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling account balances, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Working Conditions: Full-time position in an office setting with standard work hours; occasional overtime may be required.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, exemplary time management, and reliability.
