Gonzales Medical and Children’s Hospital Inc. (GMCHI) is a Level 1 hospital with a 38-bed capacity, licensed by the Department of Health and accredited by PhilHealth. This private hospital is situated in Tanauan City, Batangas. GMCHI opened its doors to the public on December 8, 1989, primarily serving the children of Tanauan and neighboring towns such as Talisay, Malvar, Balete and Sto. Tomas. The influx of patients requiring OB and surgical care led to the establishment of an operating room and delivery room in 1990. To enhance patient care, the hospital expanded its bed capacity from 20 to 26 beds and added facilities for medical cases and pediatric isolation. The hospital also features an Emergency Room, Pharmacy, X-ray, Ultrasound Room, Laboratory, patient rooms and doctors’ clinics. In 2016, GMCHI inaugurated a new Annex, expanding its capacity to serve more patients with additional facilities.
