QC Inspector - with strong background in HALAL - Sal: 20k-22k - San Juan City

• Strong background in HALAL

College level or graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Biology, BS Microbiology, BS Nutrition and Dietetics, or any related science course.

Fresh graduates and college-level applicants with relevant manufacturing or quality control experience are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Halal Assurance System (HAS), and quality control procedures is an advantage.

Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and on shifting schedules.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Functions

Inspect delivery vehicles to ensure compliance with quality, sanitation, and food safety requirements.

· Perform sampling and inspection of incoming packaging materials and other incoming materials in accordance with established quality procedures.

Conduct in-process inspections to verify product specifications, packaging quality, product weight, and overall production compliance.

Perform routine calibration and verification of weighing scales and other assigned measuring equipment.

Carry out Vitamin A fortification activities and other quality control processes in accordance with approved procedures.

Inspect finished products prior to packing and identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and products.

Monitor product traceability and ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of materials throughout the production process.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Administrative Functions

Prepare, maintain, and update inspection reports, quality records, calibration logs, and traceability documentation.

Assist in the evaluation and disposition of incoming materials, evaluation samples, and rejected materials.

Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the assigned work area.

Report quality issues, inspection findings, and non-conformities to the immediate superior.

Participate in quality improvement activities and internal quality monitoring programs.

Compliance and Audit Functions

Perform Halal-critical activities in accordance with the Company's Halal Assurance System (HAS) and established procedures.

Ensure the integrity, segregation, handling, and documentation of Halal materials throughout the production process.

Report any actual or potential non-conformities affecting product quality, food safety, or Halal compliance.

Comply with Company policies and all applicable GMP, HACCP, Halal, Food Safety, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and regulatory requirements.

Assist during internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits by providing complete and accurate quality records and supporting documents.

Other Duties

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and competency development activities.

Provide support during product trials, process validations, and special quality projects.
