Project Estimator

The Project Estimator is responsible for determining accurate material requirements and preparing detailed cost estimates for projects. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project layout, floor plan, and specifications to assess material needs.
• Prepare detailed material take-offs and cost estimates.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supplier availability.
• Maintain and update material cost databases for reference in future projects.
• Provide cost reports and support tender/bid preparation.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel, and production head to discuss and formulate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in cost estimation.
• Maintain cost databases and estimation tools

• Proven experience as a Project Estimator or in a similar role for construction services (modular fabrications, renovation, and fit-out)
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Strong knowledge of estimation methods, cost analysis, and project management principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, estimation software, or other cost analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
