Estimation Engineer( Steel & Facade)- bound to Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in structural design to join our estimation

team. In this role, you will not just calculate quantities; you will analyze structural drawings, identify

design efficiencies, and build accurate cost models for complex projects. Your ability to understand

the "why" behind the design is key to minimizing risk and optimizing costs.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Structural Knowledge: Solid understanding of structural design principles and load paths. Ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings and analysis reports.
• Software Proficiency:
• Estimation tools (e.g. Revit, Advanced Excel).
• Familiarity with design software (e.g. SAP2000) to verify quantities is a plus.
• Standards: Knowledge of relevant building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quantity Take-offs: Perform detailed material take-offs (façade, steel) from structural drawings and 3D models.
• Cost Analysis: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Value Engineering: Utilize your structural design background to identify over-engineered sections and propose cost-saving alternatives without compromising safety or integrity.
• Bid Preparation: Review tender documents, specifications, and contracts to assess project scope and risks.
• Vendor Coordination: Solicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers.
