Planning Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing project timelines, tracking progress, analyzing delays, and coordinating with project teams to maintain schedule performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS)
• Prepare baseline schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft  Project
• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
• Identify critical path activities and potential risk
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors
• Support resource planning and forecasting
• Perform delay analysis and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 2–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling
• Strong knowledge of scheduling techniques (CPM, EVM)
• Proficiency in project planning software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
