The Kitchen Warehouse Staff is responsible for the proper receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control of kitchen supplies, food items, and equipment. This role ensures that all stocks are handled according to food safety standards and that kitchen operations are continuously supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect food items and kitchen supplies upon delivery
• Check quantity, quality, and expiration dates of delivered items
• Ensure proper storage following FIFO/FEFO and food safety standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock cards
• Issue kitchen items based on approved requisitions
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or spoiled items
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the storage area
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and purchasing for replenishment needs
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Vocational Course (Culinary or related course is an advantage)
• At least 1–2 years experience as Kitchen Warehouseman, Storekeeper, or similar role
• Knowledge of inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, and food safety practices
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy kitchen supplies
• Detail-oriented, honest, and well-organized
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
