We need 18 Building Engineer/Facilities Engineer (Engineering Officer)

A Building Engineer keeps a facility running safely, efficiently, and up to code.

*1. Operations & Maintenance*
- *HVAC, plumbing, electrical*: Oversee and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water, power, and lighting systems
- *Preventive maintenance*: Schedule inspections and servicing for elevators, boilers, generators, fire alarms, pumps, etc.
- *Building systems monitoring*: Use BMS/Building Automation Systems to track energy use, temperature, air quality, and equipment performance
- *Repairs*: Coordinate or do hands-on fixes for mechanical, structural, and cosmetic issues

*2. Safety & Compliance*
- *Code compliance*: Make sure the building meets local building codes, OSHA, fire safety, and environmental regulations
- *Inspections*: Conduct regular safety checks and prepare for government/city inspections
- *Emergency preparedness*: Maintain emergency systems, evacuation plans, and respond to alarms, leaks, power outages
- *Documentation*: Keep logs of maintenance, permits, warranties, and compliance reports

*3. Project & Vendor Management*
- *Renovations & upgrades*: Plan and oversee tenant improvements, retrofits, and capital projects
- *Budgeting*: Track maintenance budgets, energy costs, and project expenses
- *Contractors/vendors*: Source, hire, and manage electricians, HVAC techs, janitorial, landscapers, etc. Review bids and work quality
- *Procurement*: Order parts, tools, and materials for repairs

*4. Energy & Sustainability*
- *Energy management*: Find ways to reduce utility costs and building carbon footprint
- *Water conservation*: Monitor usage and fix leaks
- *Sustainability projects*: Implement LED upgrades, smart controls, recycling programs

*5. Tenant/Client Support*
- *Work orders*: Respond to tenant requests for repairs or facility issues
- *Communication*: Report building status to property managers, owners, and occupants
- *Space planning*: Advise on layout changes, load capacity, and system impacts

We are looking for result-driven, licensed engineers currently working as Senior Building Engineers, Facilities Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, or similar roles within the Property / Facilities Management industry.

📍 OPEN LOCATIONS & COMPENSATION
Makati, Laguna, Pasig, & Quezon City
Salary Range: PHP 50,000 – PHP 55,000
Experience Req.: At least 3 years of relevant experience
Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Employment Terms: 2-year fixed-term employment with a strong potential for regularization based on performance.

📋 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
License Requirement: Must be a Registered/Licensed Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered/Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
Gender & Age: Open to both male and female candidates. No age restrictions.
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Operations Lead under the Commercial Properties Group.

🛠️ TECHNICAL EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Solid hands-on experience in the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and management of building facilities and MEPF systems, focusing on:
Chillers & HVAC Systems
Cooling Towers
Generator Sets (GenSets)
Boilers
Building Electrical & Mechanical Systems
Preferred Property Background: Exposure to Commercial Buildings, Corporate Office Towers, Shopping Malls, and Hotels.
Core Soft Skills: Strong sense of ownership, distinct leadership presence, and the ability to resolve facility issues swiftly.
