Electrical Engineer

Position Summary

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical works comply with safety standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and control panels.
• Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and system failures.
• Perform load calculations and ensure proper system capacity.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineers.
• Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and technical reports.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support testing, commissioning, and system start-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Proven experience in electrical design, installation, or maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and project management skills.
