Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Create electrical schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams for lighting, power distribution, and grounding using tools like AutoCAD.
• Site Supervision: Monitor installation work, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• System Testing & Commissioning: Perform safety checks, conduct testing, and troubleshooting on electrical systems during and after construction.
• Project Management: Develop material lists, estimate costs, and create timelines to keep projects within budget and on schedule.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve unexpected on-site technical issues and update designs as needed.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is often required.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or electrical design software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of local building codes and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, OSHA)
